Cambria Maintenance Services is looking for an Electrician to join our team working across North Wales.

We would like to hear from 18th edition qualified Electricians who are able to diagnose faults, carry out repairs, new installations and certify their own work. A major part of our work is Electrical Installation Condition Reports, (EICRs), and holding the relevant inspection and testing qualification and being able to demonstrate competency when undertaking EICRs is a requirement of the role. Qualifications required NVQ Level 3 – AM2 or equivalent. 2391 Inspection & Testing or equivalent. BS7671 2018 18th edition wiring regulations.

This is an exciting job where the work is varied, and you could be involved in minor repairs one day and then a full kitchen wiring upgrades the next. You can feel a real sense of achievement from doing the right job with good products and equipment.

The rate of pay for this role is £15.48 per hour for a basic 40-hour week, with a vehicle provided for work use. We also operate an out of hours emergency call out system for which there is an additional payment.

As a standard, we offer all our employees 21 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, an additional day’s holiday at Christmas plus the option to buy up to 10 days additional leave per year.  We also offer a pension scheme, and a cashback health plan.

Further information about the role can be found in the attached Role profile.

Who are Cambria?

Established in 2010, we undertake a wide range of housing maintenance works across North, Mid and South Wales with offices in Cardiff and Deeside. The works include day to day repairs, empty property repairs, electrical testing, gas servicing and emergency call-outs outside of office hours.

While wholly-owned by Wales & West Housing, we are an independent company run as a social enterprise with any profits used to further the social purpose of the Wales & West Housing Group. This gives us great security and consistent growth for the Group as a whole.

We are ambitious for the future and we recognise that our strengths lie in understanding the needs of our customers and delivering excellent levels of service. Our focus is on the delivery of a high-quality responsive repairs service to the residents of Wales & West Housing.

We operate with strong values, meaning both you and the organisation will behave fairly, openly, responsibly, supportively and efficiently.

The Wales & West Housing Group are also ranked the top Welsh not-for-profit organisation in the 2022 Best Companies list and ranked 3rd in the top 100 in the whole of the UK.
