About the Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual looking to make a real difference to the lives of residents and communities across Wales. As our Project Manager you will support the Business Programme Manager in the delivery of business projects in Wales’ top housing association, as voted by our staff in the Best Companies list. 

 

What will you be doing?

We are engaged on an extensive programme of change across the business, in particular within our core systems of tenancy, asset and financial management. These core systems drive our business success and help us achieve our mission. This role will focus on one of these systems and will also contribute and support other projects across the Group.  

You'll be reporting directly to the Business Programme Manager and work closely with the Business Intelligence Manager, ICT Delivery Manager, the deployment team and third-party suppliers to transform our growing Group of Companies.

You will build and matrix manage large project teams over a variety of projects to help us continuously improve the way we work as an organisation. This will involve owning the project from initiation to handover, being responsible for planning solution delivery, meeting milestones, ensuring all project deliverables are provided and assisting the deployment of change into the business.

 

Who are we looking for?

To succeed in this role, you will have a genuine passion and interest in what we do as an organisation and a demonstrable track record of understanding problems and delivering change.  You will have a varied skill set that enables you to effectively balance the management of business change alongside a sound understanding of technological solutions and their deployment.

We will need a proven track record in the following:

  • Experience of Project Management of multiple project streams
  • Experience of matrix-managing multiple, large project teams
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Ability to evaluate technical solutions and provide technical options
  • Experience of MS Dynamics / MS Sharepoint and/or Office365 projects
  • Ability to write concise meaningful reports using non-technical language
