An exciting role has become available within Cambria’s gas service delivery team. As the Senior Gas Engineer, working in our West Wales region, you will be responsible for shaping and improving the future of service delivery to Wales & West Housing’s residents.
This role requires taking the lead for a small team delivering service, repair, maintenance and installation of gas appliances in domestic properties in line with manufacturer guidance and legislative requirements.
As a member of Cambria, you will work to deliver an exceptional maintenance service working alongside those delivering the service, mentoring and training as well as in a solo capacity demonstrating problem diagnosis, installation, service and practical repairs skills.
Applicants must possess recognised formal training attaining the relevant craft qualification i.e. City & Guilds, NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent and ACS qualifications CCN1, CEN1, WAT1, CKR1, HTR1. You will be responsible for the administration of Cambria’s Gas Safe Registration and ensuring that the gas service is delivered to the current standards and legal requirements
Applicants must be sufficiently competent to carry out all general gas works to domestic properties, including; modern and traditional boilers and central heating systems, (including fitting new pumps, motorised values, radiators, pipework, etc.) and completing relevant certifications.
You will also participate in our 24/7 emergency call out service for which there is an addition payment. A vehicle is provided for work use and must possess a full valid driving license with 9 points or less.
A strong customer focus is also essential as is the ability to communicate with a diverse range of residents.
